My Story

Hello, my name is Jenna and I’m the founder of Seagolden! I started creating skincare in my early 20’s when I was dismayed to find that the products I was using from stores were giving me allergic reactions, rashes and breakouts. It didn’t matter if it was an expensive serum from Nordstrom or Aveeno lotion from Walgreens, I could never predict how my skin would react to the chemicals, synthetic fragrances and preservatives, it was so stressful. So Seagolden was born from my need for potent, nourishing and pure skincare with no toxic ingredients for my sensitive skin. As my complexion improved, friends and family wanted to know what I was using so I began small-batching my blends to share and the rest is history! After a decade and dozens of formulations I dialed in on the ratios and ingredients I’m obsessed over and love you to experience. Everything I design to be anti-inflammatory and hydrating, calming the complexion and enhancing your natural radiance and glow. Nourishing, revitalising and protecting the complexion with high quality and sustainable ingredients is essential for me. For years I’ve prioritized holistic health and eliminated unnecessary toxins from my routine, especially when it comes to anything I use on my skin. Products don’t need to be toxic to be effective! I grew up on the Northern California coast and I’m still here raising my 2 boys, inspired by natural beauty, always photographing sun flares and sunsets over the sea.

Clean & Powerful

I want to provide a soothing, sensorial experience that nourishes and enhances the skin’s radiance without any toxins involved. Pure, powerful and intoxicating ingredients are my priority. I avoid using seed oils that have a high PUFA (poly-unsaturated fatty acid) content in my products because they are so damaging to the body when they oxidize. Everything I produce contains no parabens, sulfates, phylates, synthetic fragrances, colours, dyes or artificial preservatives.

High Quality

Only excellent quality, therapeutic grade oils are used in my blends. The botanicals are carefully researched, selected and sampled before being formulated in micro batches for optimal freshness and potency.

Sustainable

I want to take care of this beautiful earth and minimise my footprint. Not only do I use plant-based botanical ingredients, but I selected glass and metal for 98% of my packaging instead of plastics. My products are shipped in biodegradable cardboard boxes, using recyclable paper for packing with bubble wrap only as needed.

I spiritually cleanse, bless and release the anointing of Jesus that breaks the yoke of darkness into every ingredient, bottle and container used for my products. I believe in the healing and deliverance power of God and want to give that Spirit away in every pure skincare product I create and send out to you.
